Different sizes and fits

Nominal width explained, and why a measurement beats a marketing adjective.

Read before choosing

· No barrier product eliminates all risk. Correct and consistent use according to the manufacturer’s instructions is what public-health bodies describe as effective use.
· Check the expiration date and the condition of the packaging before every use, and store products away from heat, direct sunlight and sharp objects such as keys.
· Latex allergies are real. Non-latex options exist, and a healthcare professional can advise if you are unsure about a reaction.
· Questions about sexually transmitted infections, contraception or pregnancy belong with a clinician or a reputable health service, not a shopping guide.

Nominal width: Condom sizing is usually expressed as nominal width in millimetres, printed on the box. It is the most reliable way to compare fit between brands.
Lubricant compatibility: Oil-based products can weaken latex. Water-based and silicone-based lubricants are generally considered compatible with latex condoms, but always confirm on the packaging.
