What to look for

Size charts over labels
Brands disagree about what a “medium” is. Use the measurement chart on the listing and a tape measure rather than a label from another brand.
Care labels
Lace and mesh usually want a cold hand wash and flat drying. Satin and silk are more particular still. Keep the care label with the garment.
