Chapter II · Dual-purpose products

plusOne Dual Rabbit

A flexible dual design with two independently controlled motors, from a mainstream brand.

  • Premium Materials
  • Editor's Shortlist

Dual-purpose products combine two functions in a single curve, which makes them the most proportion-sensitive category in this chapter. What suits one person's anatomy may not suit another's, and no listing can tell you in advance.

Who may find it useful

  • · People who already know they enjoy both functions
  • · Those willing to spend at the premium tier for quieter motors and better materials

Who may prefer another category

  • · Beginners, who may find a single-purpose product easier to judge
  • · Anyone for whom fit has previously been an issue

plusOne's dual design has two motors with independent tips, is listed as fully waterproof and USB rechargeable, and comes from a brand sold on ordinary retail shelves. Fit is still individual; the listing gives overall size only.

Materials and construction

Premium designs in this category are usually seamless silicone throughout. Confirm on the listing.

Measurements

Check insertable length, diameter and, if published, the gap between elements.

Controls and power

Two motors usually mean two sets of controls. Check whether they are independent.

Cleaning and storage

Curved shapes with two elements take slightly longer to wash and dry thoroughly.

Compatibility notes

Water-based lubricant with silicone. Silicone-based lubricant is a combination to confirm on the packaging.

Manufacturer instructions

Follow the manufacturer’s current instructions for use, cleaning, charging and storage. Where anything on this page differs from the manufacturer’s documentation, the manufacturer’s documentation takes precedence.

Why it may appeal

  • · Two functions in one product
  • · Premium-tier designs are often quieter

Points to consider

  • · Fit is individual and cannot be judged from a photograph
  • · Two motors are usually louder than one

Questions to check before purchasing

  1. Are the two motors controlled independently?
  2. Is the material seamless silicone?
  3. Is the product fully waterproof?
  4. What is the warranty?
